Magic Worm Blower

Today was actually a regular sort of work day, except that calls and emails and packages kept coming in all day with funny and nice birthday wishes. Thanks to everyone for good wishes and comments too!
Among my favorite gifts were a singing e-card from Hy that Orion and I spent twenty minutes watching over and over and each time, collapsing into the chair laughing, a new Bill Hicks dvd from David (who is Aubrey’s dad and my friend.) Then, there's the graphic from Ravyn, which is exactly what I must deserve for making her a rat, twice. My favorite thing about the graphic is that the puppet has the look of a puppet who has been slipped a very puppety surprise.

In the goodie bag from Ben, (among things I shan’t name here and one thing that absolutely has no name and if it does I don’t want to know) is a Magic Worm Blower. I’m so touched. It’s just f*d up enough that I know he means it from the heart. Awwwww…

Soon off for an obscenely good dinner at one of my favorites and Kong, later, with friends (from Pete)

Hmm. Now I must find some of those Magic Worms....

Later!

Happy Birthday!

And, and, and . . . when do we get to see the video of Neil's sculpture?

I can't wait for my Luck's Dancer to arrive, and I hope my mom's Emily gets here before I leave for Florida!

Hi Rebecca, You should have it by Tomorrow or Thurs. Normally I email everyone but we looked at the time we had and the orders to ship and decided to hold the emails and get everything out in time for to arrive on the 23rd, even to Singapore and Chile.

Happy Birthday!! I have never posted here before but I really enjoy your art... at least what I have seen of it. I appreciate your sense of humour. I wish you well and hope to continue to see your spiffy work.

Happy Birthday Lisa

Whatever you celebrate about it and however you celebrate them, I wish for you to have good time in the doing.

I'm going to be celebrating the birth and continued existence of a person who, among other things, takes it upon herself to get other people to act and think about the worlds beneath the surfaces of beings - be they animate or inanimate, singular or several, perhaps ordinary...or not.

Three cheers for the artist! Long may she creep us out. .P

Your package went out in today's mail. I sent it to the address on the site since I didn't save the packages nor did I want to presume anything so expect it before the end of Saturday there! :-D

I still haven't taken any pictures of my wall set up with all the rats and certificates sitting right next to Shawn's eco-sphere, but I will and I'll print out a nice copy to send to you.

We'll get more art from you this coming year, no doubt.

Hmmmm

And I didn't know it was your birthday, somehow. It will be late, but I will send a surprise...that's better anyway. Some day when you are wishing something would happen to relieve the drag of the day...something will...

The Dream King sends his birthday wishes and regards. [Just between you and me, I think it's fine to wait until January sometime to post a movie of the statue. As Neil himself said recently, the mystery lingers much longer than the answer, or words to that effect.]

Happy birthday from the eastern midwest as well. Your blog is interesting and inspiring. I hope to someday be able to behold more of your art than the rat sculptures I have.

Happy holidays to you and yours,

Craig Steffen

Ack. I'm brain-dead. (I plead excessive Christmas shopping. Oxford Street at this time of year will suck your brain right out through your ears.)

I meant to wish you Happy Birthday on your actual birthday, and not two days late, honest!
