Actually, I spent most of my posting time answering comments. Still, I'm happy you're reading and thinking.
Yes, it is hot. And very cloudy and humid. The sun was a big red ball today. I tried a couple of photos, but they were unsatisfying.
I tried working on the cabinets but I only want to sit under the fan. Orion and I watched "March of the Penguins." wow. That was really, really lovely. More like that please. Less Hollywood crap and crap2 and son of crap. sheesh Lots of animals out there we know little about... I was daunted to discover how much the penquins reminded me of my puppets. Is it just me?
Today's Bennism: Yes, I am. I'm on both sides of the fence and underneath it too.
Can't live with him, can't shoot him.
But the best quote of the day comes from Patrick (SpongeBob) "At least I'm safe here in my head!"
Don't you just love Patrick?

If you enjoyed 'March of the Penguins', then you should definitely try 'Microcosmos', a 1997 film on insects (if you haven't seen it already, that is!). Quite different, but it imparts that same feeling of wonder and joy.
No, it's not just you. I saw it recently and it made me think of them too, especially in the bits where the males are all huddled in a circle, trudging around to keep warm.
Blogspot really needs to offer a comment feed to enable blogs to display recent activity across all posts.
Sometimes I feel, not as though I'm on both sides of and under the fence, but rather as if I've stepped into a breach in the fence and made myself a part of it.
Patrick is the newest incarnation of Buddha.
March was great. Saw it in the theatre and loved it. There is definitely a puppet like quality about those penguins.
Spongebob is great, period! My daughter is 14 and she, my wife, and I watch SB practically every night.
I find that in my own head is the least safe place of all... Ideas are dangerous
