Guardian of Sorrows in progress - Painting, day 1

Alison will be leaving soon. She had some decisions to make and came here to make them---sometimes home is her Camp David, she says. I don't mind that at all.

I'm going to check through the journal and answer comments. Then it's off to work for a bit. Ok, I'll admit it----I'm off to play in other worlds. But, that is my job...sometimes.

Beautiful piece Lisa! I love the absence of color. I can imagine it is as solid and well constructed as all your others - very handsome. Glad you enjoyed the magnet, it's from a group called "pocketful of posies". Tho my thumb is truly black, to my family's amusement, as well as I cannot decorate cakes without them falling apart, or wrap presents neatly. Oh well. could be worse! I will FINALLY get in the studio tonight cuz if I don't I will be reduced to banging my head against the wall. Not a good thing and painful too.
