You'll recognize the indifference of even this early angel. She has just the tip of his claw in her lips. This was true of the first Brilliance as well, but in this one, with her in fllight, it becomes more influence than control.
Her clawed feet are revelatory. It hadn't occurred to me that angels might need to be able to perch on things, but of course they would.
(I also like the way the "Previous Posts" list has truncated the title to "You'll notice the indifference of even this ear". A cruel thing, an indifferent ear.)
Lisa is the creator of Poppets and other art. Talented authors tend to write stories about images she makes. At Strange Studios, in Palm Springs, California, she and fellow artist Benton Warren create fantastical kinetic works. This blog is about Poppets, life in the studio and other strange goings on.
