October State of Mind

Don't say I didn't warn you.
Today the mercury climbed to 117 outside my back door. But I opened a little Halloween section in the Etsy shop and have begun to put things in it.

Right. I'm a grownup and can't stay in October all the time. Still, an October filter makes the desert bearable, even in July, and sometimes, even a little creepy. perfecto

A little projection now and then isn't a bad thing...especially if grim little reading poppets and scarf-swathed crows result.

What could be next, I wonder? :)

She is lovely. I love Grim Reapers! I'm so excited you're tackling Halloween early.

I just might be visiting the area in October. I'll definitely stop by Palm Springs if I do- but DHS, the place I grew up in- scares me now. Almost got carjacked the last time I visited.

I'd hoped you'd see it that way too. I may have mentioned that I'll be at the World Fantasy Convention for Halloween. This year the convention honors Edgar Allen Poe. By visiting my "October Place" now, I'll be better prepared and have more inspired art to show ther.
Well, that's the plan.

An October filter makes everything bearable! If I could invent something today it would be a pair of October spectacles that I could put on every time the urge struck and my vision would be transported to a place where I could see and smell and feel all things Octoberish!
