Wonderful quality. It looks almost like a painting... and how on earth did you get the cat to pose like that? Lucky moment? Most cats wouldn't be anything like that obliging.
Yes, it is the lovely LaMie cat... official mascot for Lorraine a' Malena. She has blossomed into full adult kitty-hood... although she is still very kittenish.
She posed herself purrfectly... staring into the light, like she was obsessed... but by the time I had the camera she was well aware of me and simply wouldn't be caught on camera in that pose. my sweet little foundling then seemed to sit there amused by my "camera dance" attempt to catch her in all her cuteness. I attribute it all to Fortuna.
Photos like Mimi's show talent and skill and experience in the art of photography.... my digital camera is just good for lucky moments... there is no comparison.
oh... and I should say that since table is at the head of my bed I fear I am the one receiving the midnight poppet whisperings... who knows what they will tell me to do... or when...
Hi Lisa, I was the girl trying (and failing) to win the Harlequin frog on Ebay recently. We e-mailed briefly. My son's birthday and Halloween are both coming up and you said to remind you about four-year-old friendly stuff around Halloween time, so here I am, being an annoying note on the Internet. I'm commenting here, specifically, because I'd also very much love a poppet (or three) for myself. I love the above image, and the opportunity for taking my own P.O.T. photos is just too good. :-) Anyhow, thanks again. -Shona
