Apology to Craig

----for making him work way too hard. What I meant to say was 'acronym'. I'm not 100% sure I can even blame the cold meds for that one. oops! sorry!

Hah!

That is too funny. I love it! The implied acronym is cute, too, by the way.

I discovered that lots of people had anagram generators on their web sites, but most of them are limited to 25 character phrases, because CPU usage goes up ferociously with number of characters. So I installed "wordplay", an anagram generator that comes with my Linux distribution.

There are 2758 recognised words that can be made with the letters in the phrase "First Incident Concerning the Influence of Neil", starting with:

0. I
1. HI
2. IS
3. SO
4. OF
5. HO
6. IT
7. I'D
8. TO
9. US

through

1704. OFFEND
1705. NEURON
1706. CUTLET
1707. FLEECE
1708. DEFINE

finally to

2752. HELIOCENTRIC
2753. INDISCRETION
2754. LIECHTENSTEIN
2755. HETEROGENEOUS
2756. EIGENFUNCTION
2757. DECONTROLLING
2758. TELECONFERENCE

And many tens of thousands of anagrams:

14973. ECLECTIC INFLECT INDIFFERENT NEON GINN NOURISH
14974. ECLECTIC INFLECT INDIFFERENT EON ONRUSHING INN
14975. ECLECTIC INFLECT INDIFFERENT ONE ONRUSHING INN

I have to admit, it was an interesting challenge. Similar to some of the professional ones that I've had; and some of those haven't been tractable either.

But I learned several things that I didn't know, and that's what counts. After all, the journey is often as at least as important as the destination. :-)

Thanks Lisa.
