I've taken over a hundred photos. Pete has taken Orion and his friend to do boy stuff. I'm alone in a quiet house. Now to write a few words for this little frozen moment. I think my favorite part of this sculpture is that some of the leaves escaped the glass to enter our world.
Stories do that, don't they?

oh Lisa I love it. I swear, I'm really trying to pull my act together, and being once potentially able to have my home filled with treasures like this is one of the reasons why I'm trying.
Wonderful! Also reminds me a lot of Thorn from Jeff Smith's great 'Bone' comic book series...

It's a beautiful piece and I love seeing the in-process shots.
Oh, and I partly agree with DavidK. It does remind me of something out of Bone, I'm just not sure if it is Thorn or Rose.
