The Most Honorable Doctor Byrd. And Rain
The artist begins to catch up photography...
We like the sky.
I am learning more about Poppets than I ever imagined. Am I beginning to understand them, just a little?
Very likely, not.
I'm okay with that.

Just wanted to say that I love your work and a few minutes back bribed my boyfriend into "stuffing our house with delightful things like THESE" as soon as we can afford it. This doesn't mean anything to you right now, but I felt like saying it anyway...
Blessed be. Diandra
PS: He really agreed. Had to use all my female viles on him. He's my hero. (^v^)
Diandra: are you kidding? Artists like me spend most of their hours working alone. Our greatest performances often happen very late at night, in quiet places, with no cheering audience, or even anyone (awake) to share the moment.
That you like the work enough to say so means plenty.
I thought I saw Rain in your ebay store the day before yesterday. When I went back, there was no Rain. Do you think there will be another for sale in the future?
Lisa is the creator of Poppets and other art. Talented authors tend to write stories about images she makes. At Strange Studios, in Palm Springs, California, she and fellow artist Benton Warren create fantastical kinetic works. This blog is about Poppets, life in the studio and other strange goings on.
