Poppet stories want to be written without electricity. I don't know why, I just know that it is. Perhaps one day they'll tell me, but I'm not counting on it.
Fantastic! I love type writer sounds. I'll get one, one day. I've always wondered if I would be able to keep a better running train of thought if I didn't have facebook or other distracting websites to dilly dally on while I wrote. Can't wait to read some Poppet stories...when I have had more practice there must be a grand scale Poppet animation.
jwb: I can totally envision a stop-motion with poppets and this typewriter. It has a glass window on either side too. hmmm--several ideas come immediately. email me!
That takes me back. One of the first ever images I took of a poppet, my original little red poppet, was on an old typewriter. I couldn't agree more that poppet stories want to be written this way. What other way could they possibly be written?
