We had our first snow yesterday afternoon, and it was just enough to make driving treacherous. Jordan and her friends sat on the interstate between the Mall and home for 3 hours until the salt & cinder trucks could get things opened up enough to crawl off the exit ramp and home.<BR/><BR/>She came in the door muttering about wishing she was back out in Palm Springs! It is foggy tod...Child of Winter is very beautiful. It is foggy today, we've had sunshine and cold off and on, and rain earlier in the day. Rarely snow though, and when it snows, it's usually that wet, slushy stuff that you can't really "play" with. (Although you can make rock-hard iceballs that will knock someone out if you throw them.)<BR/><BR/>A couple of months ago I was at the zoo, and they had put a couple of tons of ice cubes in with the polar bears. They were rolling around in them, sliding and shoving, and generally having fun.
